Built with all new components, the DDM is a 125 grain, 9mm Luger+P Jacketed Hollow Point round.
The DDM9 offers a muzzle velocity of 1,250 feet per second and 434 ft/lbs of muzzle energy, as tested in a standard Glock 17, 4.49 inch barrel, and is our competitive answer to the Federal HST.
Defiant Defensive Match (DDM) is our all purpose line of ammunition, and provides consistent accuracy and reliable expansion, making it an excellent choice for every application.
The brass for this ammunition receives a proprietary, TPD plating giving 5X the lubricity compared to non-plated brass. This corrosion resistant plating won't crack or flake, like nickle plating can, and improves extraction and ejection of spent brass. DEFIANT MUNITIONS uses only the highest quality primers, powder, brass casings and projectiles in all of our Premium Defensive ammunition.
ALL of our auto pistol brass is case cannelured in house to prevent bullet setback.
Why is this important? Bullet setback can occur with a pistol malfunction, or from chambering the same round over and over again. This can lead to possible CATASTROPHIC failure. The cannelure line puts a “crimp line” where the base of the bullet ends up. So if bullet setback were to occur, the bullet will NOT push passed the cannelure line. It’s a time consuming process, therefore, VERY few ammunition companies cannelure their brass. Here at Defiant Munitions we want our customers to have nothing but the BEST, most reliable round possible. Extra steps will always be taken here to ensure the safety and quality of our products.
At DEFIANT MUNITIONS, we don’t simply test each new product upon release. We test every lot of ammunition for muzzle velocity, muzzle energy, penetration depth, expansion rate and weight retention to the highest standards. We go the extra mile to ensure maximum performance and consistency.
Additionally, every round is inspected and chamber checked by hand before packaging.
We build these to our exacting standards to ensure you have only the most consistent and reliable defensive ammo available.
Don't be fooled by the price. Most quality defensive ammo is packaged 20 to a box. The Defiant Munitions DDM is packaged 50 rounds per box, because you should have the same ammo in your spare magazine as you do in your primary.

I have not shot these yet, however I am very pleased thus far. The ammo looks to be high quality, was shipped quick (and that’s saying something this day in age). I look forward to test firing some rounds to see how they perform!

Quality stuff! First thing I noticed was the rounds look like they mean BUSINESS. Good looking ammo. My G19 went through a box of this stuff faster than I can go through a box of thin mint girl scout cookies. Ringing steel up and down the range. I was a bit worried I wouldn't like +P rounds but I had no issues there. Felt recoil was just fine. I will be ordering more boxes asap and the .223 as well. Appreciate the quality work from Defiant.

THE 9MM !
I was a fan of this loading with the old company, Defiant is making it now (way better!) I trust this ammo , its in mine and my lady's pistols. Pete Jr's OCD with ammo give me the confidence to carry Defiant Munitions, he definitely won't send out junk to the customers.
