.308 WIN 180gr TCX (Total Copper X-panding) Subsonic Ammunition
Built with Lapua brass casings, the TCX308 180gr is a 180 grain, .308 Winchester caliber Total Copper X-panding round, with a muzzle velocity of 1,000 feet per second and 400 ft/lbs of muzzle energy, as tested in a 16 inch,1 in 10 twist barrel.
Packaged 20 rounds per box, we build these to our exacting standards to ensure you have only the most consistent and reliable defensive ammo available.

TCX (Total Copper X-panding) ammunition incorporates a 100% solid copper projectile, with both interior and exterior serrations to ensure maximum expansion.
There is no bi-metallic bonding to separate or otherwise fail, as can occur with JHP (Jacketed HollowPoint) projectiles. The result is consistent penetration that meets or exceeds FBI standards, and expansion that reliably outperforms typical JHP (Jacketed HollowPoint) projectiles.

We test every lot of ammunition for pressure, muzzle velocity, muzzle energy, penetration depth, expansion rate and weight retention to the highest standards. We go the extra mile to ensure maximum performance and consistency. Additionally, every round is inspected and chamber checked by hand before packaging.

Hunting
I was able to harvest all 4 deer I shot at using this ammo. It worked great. No animal ran more than 40 yards. Average shot was 50 yards. Longest was 75 yards.

Love this round! Shot this through a bolt 18 inch and can. Great group sub moa at 100. .83"! Will be used for deer and maybe elk! Would love to buy just the bullets.

Subsonic 308 180 gr TCX-S
The Defiant subsonic 308 TCX-S is the gold standard in repeatability creating my confidence in the round. I use the round to deer hunt at a relatively close range in a heavily forested area through a suppressed rifle to shoot deer. Due to the aimpoint, the round must rapidly expand creating a large wound channel with as many ft/#'s as can be generated. Deer must be DRT. The round has to be accurate and consistent for my needs and this is the best subsonic I've tried. I've shared with friends and had 100% feedback from a friend shooting hogs at night through his suppressed rifle. QUALITY components. I am in love with this ammo. When u can shoot a mature 8 pointer and the ammo goes through both shoulders I mean what more can u ask for. I will only buy this ammo thank u for such a excellent bullet

Only used enough to sight in and check accuracy. But it is very good at 100yds. Sub 3/4”. Looking forward to trying it game hunting. No supersonic hot loads so far that you normally see in bulk subsonic ammo. Looking forward to seeing what it can do on an animal. Price is steep but understandable with the all copper tcx bullets. Customer service I received was far and above anywhere else. I’ll be buying more!
