30-06 168 gr Total Copper X-panding
The Defiant Munitions 30-06 Springfield TCX is a 168 grain, Total Copper X-panding round loaded with premium, match- brass with a muzzle velocity of 2,900 feet per second and 3,137 ft/lbs of muzzle energy, as tested in a standard 24 inch, 1 in 10 twist barrel.
Packaged 20 rounds per box, we build these to our exacting standards to ensure you have only the most consistent and reliable defensive ammo available.

TCX (Total Copper X-panding) ammunition incorporates a 100% solid copper projectile, with both interior and exterior serrations to ensure maximum expansion.
There is no bi-metallic bonding to separate or otherwise fail, as can occur with JHP (Jacketed HollowPoint) projectiles. The result is consistent penetration that meets or exceeds FBI standards, and expansion that reliably outperforms typical JHP (Jacketed HollowPoint) projectiles.

Deadly accurate
In comparison to another brand's 168g 30-06 that I've been shooting, this cartridge wins. Tighter grouping at the range at 200 yards, and consistent gong hits out to my comfortable range of 400 (hitting the 500 and 600 too, but I'm no expert so there's def user error involved there!). Finally got a chance to use it in the field the other day, and it took down a very large cow elk in 600lb range at 167 yards immediately with one shot. The destruction was devastating. All internal organs were jelly and even the majority of the rib and neck meat on both sides of the animal were pulverized from the concussion. I've never seen destruction like that on an animal with a 30-06 round. I'll be placing an order for another box or two, I don't want to shoot anything else! Also, when I first received my order, I contacted Defiant regarding a ballistics chart...Pete called me right away on my cell and built me a custom chart based on my specific rifle and barrel length...incredible customer service!
