Built with our proprietary TPD black plated brass casings, the Defiant Munitions .223 Defiant Defensive Match is a 69 grain polymer-tipped match boat tail bullet. The projectile has a rapid expanding front end for an early, devastating wound channel. While the back half of the bullet continues to mushroom and provide deep penetration through light to medium barriers, including medium size game animals.
With a Ballistic Coefficient of .375, this load is also a great choice for long range shooting.
This load features a muzzle velocity of 2,900 feet per second and 1,289 ft/lbs of muzzle energy, as tested in an 18 inch, 1 in 8 twist barrel.
