Built with Lapua brass casings, the Defiant Defensive Munitions .223 Defiant Defensive Match is a 77 grain OTM (open tip match), with a muzzle velocity of 2,800 feet per second and 1,340 ft/lbs of muzzle energy, as tested in an 18 inch, 1 in 8 twist barrel.
This load has a Ballistic Coefficient of .374 and is a great choice for all long range shooting.
Our testing to FBI standards, shows 13 inches of penetration in 10% ordinance gelatin before the bullet breaks up.

It is obvious by inspecting the ammo that the care that goes into DM's quality control is amazing. Really looking forward to seeing how my blasters like the heavier grain bullet, but I have no doubt I can trust my life and more importantly my family's life to it. And there really isn't a higher praise that I could think of then that.
