Built with all new components, the TCX223 62 is a 62 grain, .223 caliber Solid Copper Defensive round, with a muzzle velocity of 3,000 feet per second and 1,239 ft/lbs of muzzle energy, as tested in a standard 18 inch, 1 in 8 twist barrel.
The brass for this ammunition receives a proprietary, TPD plating giving 5X the lubricity compared to non-plated brass. This corrosion resistant plating won't crack or flake, like nickel plating can, and improves extraction and ejection of spent brass.

TCX (Total Copper X-panding) ammunition incorporates a 100% solid copper projectile, with both interior and exterior serrations to ensure maximum expansion.
There is no bi-metallic bonding to separate or otherwise fail, as can occur with JHP (Jacketed HollowPoint) projectiles. The result is consistent penetration that meets or exceeds FBI standards, and expansion that reliably out performs typical JHP (Jacketed HollowPoint) projectiles.

Who do you trust?
I wouldn’t put my trust in just anyone. The same goes for quality ammunition. Sure I have some of the untrustworthy ammo, you know the cheap stuff (when it was cheap anyway) but that stuff is for random plinking, teaching inexperienced friends and family members. I use quality to zero/sight in my optics, ensure that “monster” buck won’t get away, have ready to go if I ever have to defend my family. This applies to all Defiant Munitions ammo, I TRUST IT. I trust the rigorous test process, the meticulous assembly and inspection process, and I trust the Man In Charge that he goes above and beyond to ensure his name isn’t tarnished by garbage, quickly thrown together ammo prone to failures as A LOT of other shelf ammo does.

I recently purchased 223 ammunition from DM and 9mm DM from Ammo Supply Warehouse. I had no doubt how this ammo would perform based on the legacy of it’s producer, but I was even more impressed once I tried it. I’ve been in law enforcement for over 33 years and found this ammunition to be above many brands I have tried. Also, it never hurts to look great as this ammunition looks.
