Built with all new components, the TCX9115 is a 115 grain, 9mm Luger+P Solid Copper Defensive round.
The TCX9115 offers a muzzle velocity of 1,275 feet per second and 415 ft/lbs of muzzle energy, as tested in a standard Glock 17, 4.49 inch barrel.
DEFIANT MUNITIONS uses only the highest quality primers, powder, brass casings and projectiles in all of our Premium Defensive ammunition.
TCX (Total Copper X-panding) ammunition incorporates a 100% solid copper projectile, with both interior and exterior serrations to ensure maximum expansion. There is no bi-metallic bonding to separate or otherwise fail, as can occur with JHP (Jacketed HollowPoint) projectiles. The result is consistent penetration that meets or exceeds FBI standards, and expansion that reliably outperforms typical JHP (Jacketed HollowPoint) projectiles.
All of our defensive auto pistol brass (except our subsonic line) is case cannelured in house to prevent bullet setback.
Why is this important? Bullet setback can occur with a pistol malfunction, or from chambering the same round over and over again. This can lead to possible CATASTROPHIC failure. The cannelure line puts a “crimp line” where the base of the bullet ends up. So if bullet setback were to occur, the bullet will NOT push past the cannelure line. It’s a time consuming process, therefore, VERY few ammunition companies cannelure their brass. Here at Defiant Munitions we want our customers to have nothing but the BEST, most reliable round possible. Extra steps will always be taken here to ensure the safety and quality of our products.

9mm TCX
I was recommended DM by a friend a long time ago, before the ammo started being actually made. Based completely on the reputation of the person running things. And after the wait I have to say it was totally worth it. TCX is hands down all I will carry in my guns and it's all I recommend to my family and friends. Will be stocking up on this as it becomes available!

My new carry ammo
I was a big fan of the corbon dpx. Now that Defiant is up and running I am making the switch. I didnt notice this being any hotter than other carry ammo. It feed without issues in my Glock 19. I will be buying more. I think total copper is the best.

Amazing Performance
The new 115 TCX is amazingly consistent. QC on this ammo is second to none. Chrono’d out of my Langdon 92 at an AVG of 1269 FPS with a standard deviation of 5 FPS! Profile and overall length ensure reliable feeding across multiple types of pistols. The only 9mm defensive ammo I will carry from here on out.

9mm rounds review
Canik USA told me they couldn't recommend DM ammunition enough as the best ammo to use in my TP9SFX. Just received 2 boxes and they are made above the standards of some of the best ammo on the market. Cant go wrong, outstanding quality. Highly recommended.

Great Ammo
Ordered a couple hundred rounds to test function in my Glock. Wasn’t worried that they wouldn’t feed, but needed to make sure. 150 rounds fed through a variety of drills and the point of aim/point of impact was about where my previous carry ammo hit. Very easy transition to a vastly superior ammo. My only issue is that these little guys are too pretty to shoot!!!!

Best defense round
This is one of the best defensive rounds ive ever seen, not to mention it looks good! The expansion on the tcx 115 grain round is amazing. This will be my defensive carry round from now on! The customer service is also top of line! Family owned company from actual shooters who train!
