Built with all new components, the TCX9115 is a 115 grain, 9mm Luger+P Solid Copper Defensive round.
The TCX9115 offers a muzzle velocity of 1,275 feet per second and 415 ft/lbs of muzzle energy, as tested in a standard Glock 17, 4.49 inch barrel.
DEFIANT MUNITIONS uses only the highest quality primers, powder, brass casings and projectiles in all of our Premium Defensive ammunition.
TCX (Total Copper X-panding) ammunition incorporates a 100% solid copper projectile, with both interior and exterior serrations to ensure maximum expansion. There is no bi-metallic bonding to separate or otherwise fail, as can occur with JHP (Jacketed HollowPoint) projectiles. The result is consistent penetration that meets or exceeds FBI standards, and expansion that reliably outperforms typical JHP (Jacketed HollowPoint) projectiles.
All of our defensive auto pistol brass (except our subsonic line) is case cannelured in house to prevent bullet setback.
Why is this important? Bullet setback can occur with a pistol malfunction, or from chambering the same round over and over again. This can lead to possible CATASTROPHIC failure. The cannelure line puts a “crimp line” where the base of the bullet ends up. So if bullet setback were to occur, the bullet will NOT push past the cannelure line. It’s a time consuming process, therefore, VERY few ammunition companies cannelure their brass. 115 TCX
I bought 200 rounds of TCX to load up all my carry guns, I put some rounds through my carry gun to double check my gun ran it. All I have to say is wow. This round is flawless and shoots so soft for its power. 1/2 groups no issues. I’m impressed and will be exclusively running DM from now on. Great ammo made by great people. When I had a question about another product Pete called me personally to answer my questions, now that’s the real deal!

This stuff is on point
I have shot over 200 rounds and I have to say no issues at all. TCX hits hard also even stays together when it hits steel plates and that says something! I just ordered another 300 rounds and one day I hope to be able to have at least 1000 rounds of the stuff. Just shot another 18 rounds today one mag o point and no issues. If you are not using this in your EDC get it together. Don’t talk about cost you get 50 rounds. Ammo isn’t cheap and this stuff is the best out there. Only thing I would like to see is test TCX sold, they look so cool all expanded.

Powerful and Reliable
I love these total copper rounds. The design on these is like nothing else. They're as reliable as FMJ. They're barrier blind. They retain virtually all of their weight on impact, and they expand reliably. It's also nice to have a case cannelure on my defensive rounds so I don't waste my good ammo when I want to dry fire. I can't recommend these enough.

The carry ammo I’ve been waiting for
Corbon was the first carry ammo I ever used. So glad to see the legacy that built that house continue in this company. I love the fact that bullet setback has been reduced. I fired a few just to get a feel for my new carry ammo and my shadow systems mr920 really likes it. Performs exactly as it should and that’s all I can ask.
