The Defiant Munitions 6.5PRC 143gr DDM is built with Lapua brass, with a Ballistics Coefficient of 0.625 as tested in a 24in/1in8 twist barrel.
With a muzzle velocity of 3,000ft/s and 2,857ft/lbs of muzzle energy combined with the polymer-tipped 143gr copper jacketed boat tail bullet, makes it a fast and hard hitting round that creates a substantial wound channel on deer, elk and antelope and is a great choice for long range competitions as well. My goal was to create a perfect “one caliber does it all'' load…and I believe I have succeeded.
